On Saturday 29th November 2025, we’re turning up the heat for our Salsa Party, featuring a very special guest teacher: Marie-Claire, director of Sabroso Dance Company and Sabroso Academy in Leeds.
🌶 Who’s Teaching? Meet Marie-Claire
Marie-Claire is an internationally recognised dancer, teacher, and choreographer whose passion for salsa has taken her across the world – from Cuba to New York City, and now to our dance floor!
With years of intensive training under her belt, Marie-Claire is skilled in Salsa New York Style, Crossbody, and Cuban, as well as Afro-Cuban, contemporary, ballet, jazz, and hip-hop. She’s performed at top international events, including Mambo City, Duke, Motion City, and Manchester Congress, and even graced the stage solo at Candela in NYC.
As the creative force behind Sabroso Dance Company and Sabroso Academy, her teaching is all about bringing flavour to the floor – blending tradition and modern expression to keep salsa vibrant, soulful, and alive.
After all, Sabroso means “flavourful” – and that’s exactly what her classes are!
🎶 What to Expect
✨ Special Guest Class with Marie-Claire – Learn new moves, refine your technique, and experience her signature “sabroso” style. Ladies styling class and partner work with Cleon is certain to be fun!
💃 Social Dancing till late – Salsa, bachata, and a sprinkle of KIZOMBA – RNB – MOTOWN – REGGAE to keep you moving all night long.
🎧 Great Music, Great Vibes – A mix of classic and modern Latin beats.
